Share Joy Challenge #9 - I do not want to build a snowman!! (lol!)

Hi Everyone,

The Taylored Expressions Challenge Blog: Share Joy has a great challenge - both a sketch and color challenge - you can use both or you can just use one - I choose just the sketch - and added an element or two (an extra sentiment panel. I love the Grumplings - Christmas stamp set -- these cute grumplings just crack me UP! Now, if you have seen the movie Frozen - then you know the song: "Do you want to build a snowman?"... I know it very well because my daughter sings this song alllllll the time... I mean alllllll the time!!! When I saw this sentiment - I just had to laugh --- haha and couldn't wait to make a card from this set:

I started with the elements of this sketch and then added a raised platform to the circular panel containing the grumpy kitty :) and then added some Snowflake Confetti - Little Bits here and there

Card ingredients:
Stamp set: Grumplings- Christmas stamp set from Taylored Expressions
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black and Memento Love Letter

Taylored Dies: Snowflake Confetti - Little Bits dies, Stitched Circle Stacklets, Rainbow Scallop Border

Loved playing along with this sketch and I can't wait to Share Joy by sharing this card with my fellow friend who also has a daughter who LOVES this song and I am sure can get a chuckle from this card!!! Happy Sunday! Hope that you have been having a great weekend! Sunday means its time for another awesome Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge sketch! YAY! So stay in your jammies grab a cup of coffee and join in for some crafty fun :)

Here is our sketch (#291) for this week: Love these little flower elements around the sentiment - so many options as to what those flowers could be - I chose to make my three flower elements from the sketch: two coffee cups and a heart.

For my card today, I used the Joe To Go stamp and die combo from Taylored Expressions - I love the matching dies that makes it easy to add different coffee cozies to the main coffee cup! I die cut them and then ran them thru a crimper and then added some red and yellow stickles to the center of the heart and star in the center of the cup - and then added some steam with bling:

I love how this card turned out - here is a close up of it:

Taylored Expressions Oct '15 Release Day: Holiday Grumplings

Hi Everyone!!

Welcome to the October RELEASE day from Taylored Expressions!! Today, all of the stamps, dies and new paperpack and Matched Kit will be released!

For my card today, I created this fun little number using the Holiday Grumplings and the Holiday Grumpling Dies with the new Matched Kit: Build A Scene Christmas. These grumplings totally personify the way I feel during these cold winter months: Grumpy! I love this sentiment: "Tis the Season to be Freezin" - LOL!!! Look at these adorable grumpy faces:

I love how these Peek-A-Boo Squares cut out three perfect squares all evenly spaced with some stitching on the outside. I chose to use it vertically and put the sentiment in the middle - here is a closer peek:
