Bake Me A Cake birthday!

Hi Everyone!

Can I just say that I have been loving this month's Key Ingredients Kit from Taylored Expressions - it is so so much fun! I just love the fun colors and the patterns and for my card today, I paired it up with the Bake Me A Cake die from TE with the sentiment "Happy Birthday" from the TE Stamp of the Month Birthday Bash!

I started out by using the Bake Me A Cake die to die cut different colors of designer papers from the KI kit (Feb 2014) and then I layered them together created different layers so quickly and then added some glitter to the cake for a bit of glitter and sparkle :)

I also die cut the Party Banner Border a few times with different colors and then layered them together and added a little bling and some twine to the sides - here is a closer peek:

Card Ingredients:
Paper: Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients Kit (Feb2014)
Stamps: Birthday Bash (SOTM from Taylored Expressions)
Inks: Memento Bahama Blue
Taylored Dies: Bake Me A Cake from TE, Party Banner Border
Accessories: Corner chomper, twine, bling, Best Glue Ever, foam dimensionals

I love this kit - seriously so much fun to use with the coordinating stamp set or mix it up with a different set of dise or stamp sets :) And I had so much fun playing with this Bake Me a Cake die - so so so much fun to create your own cake (without the mess in the kitchen :) LOL!)

Hey Everyone!!!

This month's Stamp of The Month from  Taylored Expressions has the cutest little birthday stamp of the month called Birthday Bash which comes with coordinating dies called: Party Time - and if you get the deluxe subscription to the KI kit - you will get the SOTM (with dies) along with papers all of which makes it super fun and easy to create all kinds of fun festive party cards! Today I a made another card using this Birthday Bash SOTM that I just love! The hardest part of making this card was choosing which papers to use from the TE KI kit - so many fun papers to choose from! I stamped the balloons with different colored inks and then die cut them with the coordinating balloon dies that I then attached some string to and tied together and then attached to the "happy birthday" sentiment - so much fun to tie the balloons together :)

Here is a close up of the balloons - I added two little fun festive curly ribbons and  a little chevron strip die cut from the yellow DP and then added a little bling to the balloons for some fun. Around the oval, I added a little stitching and some green ribbon from the TE kit to the side:

Taylored Expressions February Release Day: Hello Spring!

Hi Everyone,
YAY! Its Release Day from Taylored Expressions - there are a ton new dies and stamps ready for crafting! Today, I am showing a new coordinating die (the Spring is in the Air die) that perfecting cuts out images from the previously released stamp set called: "Hello Spring". SO as I am typing this - the ground around me is covered in 400 feet of snow... okay maybe like 2 feet - but that is a TON of snow! I can't even tell you HOW nice it was to make a spring card in the dead of winter! Its like a breath of warmth - just looking at this card makes me hopeful and happy that it will be spring one day again soon!! :)

I created my card by coloring in this super cute train image of the sheep, chicken, eggs and flowers and then die cut it with the coordinating Spring is in the Air die:
.
Here is a close up image of the die cut - I LOVE to cut images out - but this is awesome - it also cuts in between the train carts and all around the whole image in just one fell swoop cut :) I then sponged some clouds and added a sun from the Build A Scene - Sunshine die and tied a yellow ribbon so that the end of the ribbon were like sun rays :)

 Card Ingredients:
Stamps: Hello Spring from Taylored Expressions by Sankari Wegman
Paper: Choice White card stock, assorted colored card stock
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black and Colored Pencils
Accessories: sheer green ribbon, satin golden ribbon, Spring is in the Air die, dimensionals, Build A Scene - Sunshine dies, Cloud Border die, Floral Eyelet Border, Grass punch from MS

I can't wait to see everyone's fantastic release day projects - please hop aroundwith me and check them out:
Big hugs,
