TE January SOTM card: "Love"

Hi Everyone!

Its time for a new Stamp of the Month from Taylored Expressions! The stamp of month this month is called: "Kiss Me" and it also coordinates perfectly with the January Key Ingredients kit and comes with a super fun set of coordinating dies called:  Love M'Stache . One of my favorite things to attempt are CAS cards - there is something so mystical about them - I don't know how these amazing crafters create these super beautiful CAS cards because it feels like they are the hardest to make!!! I always feel like my CAS cards take forever because I am always trying to figure out if I have enough or too much :) But this card was SO much fun to make and came together SO quickly that I was amazed!!!

 Card Ingredients:
Stamps - Stamp of the Month January 2014: Kiss Me from Taylored Expressions
Paper - January 2014 TE Key Ingredients
Accessories - Love M'stache dies, Circle Nestabilities, foam dimensionals, best glue ever, bling

For my card today, I created something a little bit simple with one of the fun dies in the coordinating die kit - I die cut two with my die cutting machine and then cut one in half and layered it in such a way to create a new look. I added the sentiment "Love" to the center and wrapped it with some twine and finished it with a little bit of bling to either side  and voila - an attempt at a CAS card :)

So much fun to attempt CAS cards which have always been intimating to make for me :) What are the kind of cards that are intimidating to make for you?

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Big hugs,
Sankari :)

Hi Everyone!

Its time for a new Stamp of the Month from Taylored Expressions! The stamp of month this month is called: "Kiss Me" and it also coordinates perfectly with the January Key Ingredients kit and comes with a super fun set of coordinating dies called:  Love M'Stache.  I love these super cute Stamp of the Months - they are a lot of sunshine packed in a little cute packet and then match it up with a coordinating KI kit and voila - easy to make cards with coordinating dies, accessories and cardstock :)

For my project today, I created a little card using my favorite sentiment from this stamp set: "I mustache you a question, will you be My Valentine?" - ha! oh I love it! I cut out a little musctache with the coordinating dies and then glittered it up just a little bit :)

Here is a closer look at the card - I stamped out some hearts onto some of the designer paper and then arranged them in a corner of the card and then added a line of liquid pearls with some bling in the middle and then arrows from the coordinating dies. I doubled up on the ribbon and then added some bling to the bottom of the circle cut out that I created from my circle nesties:

Stamps - SOTM January 2014: Kiss Me from Taylored Expressions

Taylored Expressions January Release Day: My Punny Valentine and Love Makes the World Go Round

Hi Everyone!

Today is release day at Taylored Expressions - WOOHOO!!! This is such an amazing release with so many awesome new dies and stamps! For today's release I have two projects to share - the first one uses the new stamp set called Punny Valentines - which is perfect to use create treats and favors to give as class room treats or favors for all your sweet Valentines!

I created a little popcorn treat set using this sweet stamp set - complete with little tags using the new Tag Stacklets 2 for little popcorn treatlets :)

I LOVE making popcorn at home - its one of our favorite treats! I have a popcorn maker - but I prefer making popcorn the old-fashioned way - on a stove and then slathering adding a little bit of butter! I stamped the popcorn image and popped it up on the tag and then stamped the sentiment: "You make my heart pop" underneath the image and then added a large eyelet to string the ribbon through for the popcorn treat :)

Here is a closer peek at the tags - I colored them with copics and then added some oragne and yellow stickles to the popcorn or a little extra shine!

Here are the popcorn tags adhered to the popcorn treats - I also enjoyed making this project immensely because I was eating popcorn the whole time making it :) YUM!

Here is a pic of just the corn - so much fun to create this - I added the heart from the Square Block Cutting Plate and then covered it with some glitter and white gel pen :

Here is a close up the card - I loved loved loveddddd (did I say loved?!) making this card! Especially covering the popcorn in glitter :)

Card Ingredients:
Stamps: My Punny Valentine by Sankari Wegman
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black and Ladybug Red
Paper: Simple Stories DP and Bazzil Red Cardstock with Choice White Cardstock to stamp images on
Accessories: Circle Nesties, HEart from Square Block Cutting Plate die from TE, Tag Stacklets 2 from TE, copics, stickles, dimensionals, bling, EK success border die, corner chomper and white gel pen

For my second project, I created a fun little card using the new stamp set: Love Makes the World Go Round and in honor of the name of the stamp set of making the world go round - I decided to make a round card - so fun and quick and easy - just stamp color and ribbonize!

I added some liquid pearls to the circular edges and then layered it over some nesties and then edged it with some stickles on the inside :)

Here is a close up of the inside - with the stamped sentiment - "Love Makes the World Go Round" and then glittered one of the hearts from the Square Block Cutting Plate and added it to the side:

Taylored Expressions January Sneak Peeks:

Hi  Everyone!

I am SUPER excited to share peeks with you today featuring the new Super Suckers stamp set and coordinating dies from Taylored Expressions that will be released tomorrow! I have seen something like this on Pinterest where you can easily turn a lollipop into a special treat, whether for Valentine's day or for birthdays - or for any occasion - and I thought it would be awesome to have some dies that could easily make this - and Taylor made it happen!! Here it is - the Super Suckers stamp set (with awesome super hero insignias and sentiments) as well as the Super Suckers dies from Taylored Expressions designed by Nancy McKinney!

I had SO much fun making these guys (and let's be honest, eating them too while making them! I would have made more, but didn't realize that I had eaten 4-5 of them - but the good news is that they are easy to make and I will definitely be making more!)
I loved taking these pictures - I was trying to have them angled so that it could look like they are flying and are ready to save the day - please click on them for a larger picture. Here is a close up of this cool (and delicious!) Super Sucker: the dies allow you to die cut the inner part of the eyemask into a different color - so I cut the inner one blue and the outer mask was red to match his cape - even super heroes are fashionable!)

I crimped the capes and then stamped some different logos onto the capes (my son pointed out to me that the color scheme was completely wrong - and that I should have made the batman one in black and yellow, the spiderman one in blue and red, etc.... ummm hmmm.... I didn't even think about that - I was just so excited to match them all together - LOL! - I think next time, I am going to have him help me in making these super hero suckers!!)

Here are some more capes - you can make them all with the same logo (again - I totally apparently missed the Captain America color scheme - but don't they look so pretty matching each other ? lol!)

Project Ingredients:

Stamps: Super Suckers from Taylored Expressions (comes with coordinating dies for eye masks and capes)
Paper: Bazzill colored cardstock
Accessories: Best Glue Ever, papercrimper and foam dimensionals

I can't wait to see what the rest of the design team has created and what special treats and goodies are in store on today's hop - please hop along and check them out with me here:

And please stop by tomorrow for all the Release Day fun and excitement and magic!! YAY!
Thank you for stopping by today!
Big hugs,
Sankari :)

Taylored Expressions January Sneak Peeks: 3x4 Pockets & Pages – Part of My Heart die

Hi Everyone,

Welcoem to the second day of sneak peeks for the January Release of Taylored Expressions - woohoo!! Today, I am sneaking a 12x12 scrapbook page that I did with some of the Pockets & Pages dies that makes scrapbooking and Project Life-ing so fun and easy!! I created this page and found it to be so helpful to have some new Pocket and Pages dies to play around with! In making this page, I printed out some family snuggle pictures that I just loved from thsi past winter - as well as one from last winter when the kids seemed so young - how is it this possible that they got so big so quick (how how it got so cold this year vs. last year!)

One of the new dies that I used were the Valentine's Day Treat Toppers  and adhered then vertically with a little note of DH's fave memory of the kids. In this quote bubble (from the Pockets & Pages - 3/4 bubble out) I wrote a little memory or something that made people smile :)

Here is another picture where I used the new January Script die to cut out the words "winter" and "snow" onto gray paper and then adhered it to some vellum. The larger and small elements were cut out using the  Pockets and Pages Essentials 4x6 die and the Pockets and Pages Essentials 3x4 die.

Here is a closer peek at the new to be released die called: Pockets and Pages: Part of My Heart die - perfect to cut out pictures, or a solid heart or DP colored heart - I thought it would be fun to use it to journal for my scrapbook page:

Scrapbook Page Ingredients:
Taylored Dies: Pockets and Pages- Part of My Heart die, P & P January Script, Valentine Treat Toppers die, 3x4 P & P Bubble Out, Pockets and Pages Essentials 3x4, Pockets and Pages Essentials 4x6 die
Papers: Simple Stories: Snap Chat DP and Bazzill cardstock and vellum
Accessories: Heart punch, corner rounder

I am so loving all the Pockets and Pages dies - it really makes it fun and easy to scrapbook all the little moments that pass to quickly. I can't wait to check out the lovely creations from the rest of the DT on all the different projects and sets that are available this month from TE:

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Please stop by tomorrow for more fun projects!!
Big hugs,
Sankari :)
